- Act as a liaison between PITT OHIO, carrier partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Support the Enterprise Sales Team by handling day-to-day sales and customer-related needs and administrative tasks with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to support sales and customers.
- Prepare customer-facing reports, updates, and presentations for quarterly business reviews.
- Make decisions on goodwill requests to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Adapt to changing priorities and assist with other sales related tasks as needed
- Work closely with Enterprise Sales and Marketing to create a cohesive sales strategy focused on growing customer acquisitions, minimizing churn, and growing long-term customer share of spend across transportation and supply chain segments.
- Support all PITT OHIO goals and company policies.
- Maintain a high level of honesty, reliability, and transparency that instills trust between you and our customers.
- Ability to effectively react to change in response to industry dynamics and company objectives.
Other Duties
- Interface and collaborate with Marketing, Sales/Sales Leadership, Operations, Pricing, Claims, Collections and Account Managers
- Participate in “Huddles” (collaborative sales meetings) to grow business.
- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience
- Previous experience or ability to learn the transportation industry preferred.
- Previous experience or ability to learn in b2b selling.
- Fluent English language skills required to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Experienced in Microsoft Office (with emphasis on Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
- Experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
- High level of problem solving, negotiation, and time management skills are essential
- A positive and winning mindset consistent with the PITT OHIO culture.
- Desire to transition to the pathway of a field Enterprise Solutions Representative
- Ability to learn and become proficient in use of PITT OHIO Sales Enablement applications and platforms.
- Ability to make data driven decisions.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- This is a hybrid position (3 days at the nearest PITT OHIO office or terminal and 2 days WFH), and some customer entertainment and/or face-to-face interactions may be required.
- You must have a dedicated remote space where you can conduct business with:
o Suitable Workspace: A quiet, dedicated workspace free from distractions is essential for maintaining productivity and professionalism.
o Work Hours and Availability: Clear expectations regarding working hours, availability, and response times will be established to ensure alignment with internal PITT OHIO teams and customers.
o Compliance and Company Policies: Employees must comply with all company policies, including those specific to remote work, to maintain consistency and accountability.
- Sedentary work – exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of forces frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are only required occasionally.
- Close visual acuity is required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, viewing computer terminal, and extensive reading.
- Typical exposure to interior environmental conditions like air conditioning and dust; no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
- Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Talking and hearing required to communication with and listen to others to share or receive information.
- May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others.
