The Athleticus Personal Training Studio is expanding and growing! We are looking to add a kind, positive and very Senior Personal Trainer with EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN ORTHOPEDIC INJURIES to our team. This role is a great fit for you if you are extremely passionate about strength training!
You will not need to work weekends or find your own clients.
There are no sales or upselling in this role.
Sessions are a full hour so you can fully concentrate on client goals, and all clients train at least 2 times per week so you have fewer clients to manage.
You will start with 6-10 hours and when fully onboarded, go to 10-20 hours. We are open Monday - Friday, so you'll have weekends off.
Please note that this is a 1099 part time contractor role.
PLEASE APPLY ONLY IF YOU MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS, WITHOUT EXCEPTION:
- You possess a 4 year college degree in Sports Science or a related field
- You're available 3-4 weekdays per week
- You've got 2+ years with one-on-one personal training in strength & conditioning, mobility, kettlebells, weightlifting, etc.
- You are certified through a top-tier, nationally accredited Personal Training organization
- You are VERY social, friendly, outgoing, and love working with a close knit team and community
- You currently live in the St. Pete area and have a current local address. We do not interview anyone who is planning to move here.
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- You can pass a background check and drug screen upon request
- Possession of authorization to work in the US.
- Reliable transportation and availability for evenings and early mornings is a must
- Experience using Trainerize and Google Office Suite are a plus but not necessary
- You are enthusiastic and passionate about fitness, and have a positive attitude
- You are a team player
Responsibilities:
- Coach personal training and couples' training sessions
- Provide excellent personal training
