As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver Operations in Elyria, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a chemical/petrochemical facility.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
- Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and promptly communicate observed hazards or unusual conditions to appropriate site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
