Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our small business. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and shipping products according to our AS9120/ISO9001 Quality Manual and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping and receiving operations, particularly within a distribution center environment in the aerospace or electronic sectors.
Duties
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments by verifying contents against shipping documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Utilize ERP systems for tracking shipments and managing inventory data.
- Perform Quality inspections on each incoming order per company's AS9120 Quality Manual.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while handling materials in the warehouse environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving roles is preferred, particularly in Aerospace or Electronics distributor sectors.
- Familiarity with order fulfillment processes and distribution center operations is a plus.
- Proficiency in using computer/scanner to record incoming paperwork.
- Experience with AS9120 or ISO9001 Quality systems is advantageous.
