Strategy Intern Jobs in Wisconsin: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy intern in Wisconsin?
Most strategy intern roles in Wisconsin require current enrollment in a bachelor's or MBA program with a focus in business, economics, finance, or a related field, since no state-issued license applies to this role. Wisconsin employers typically recruit through campus recruiting programs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Marquette University, and UW-Milwaukee. A strong GPA, relevant coursework in corporate strategy or data analysis, and a demonstrated interest in the hiring company's industry are the most consistent hiring factors.
Which companies hire strategy interns in Wisconsin?
Companies currently hiring strategy interns in Wisconsin include Sodexo, Acuity Insurance, and Broan-NuTone, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Wisconsin's mix of Fortune 500 insurance firms, manufacturing headquarters, and regional healthcare systems means strategy intern opportunities cut across a wider range of industries than in many comparable Midwest markets.
Which Wisconsin cities have the most strategy intern jobs?
Appleton, Hartford, and Manitowoc have the most strategy intern openings in Wisconsin. Milwaukee leads because it is home to major financial services and insurance headquarters, Madison draws openings from state government, health tech, and university-affiliated organizations, and Green Bay's concentration of manufacturing and logistics firms rounds out the market for corporate strategy talent.
Are there remote strategy intern jobs in Wisconsin?
Yes, and more than most fields, because strategy intern work is largely analytical and presentation-driven rather than hands-on. About 100% of strategy intern openings tied to Wisconsin are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how well-suited the role is for distributed work. Competitive analysis, market research, and financial modeling tasks are the most commonly offered in fully remote formats.
How can I get hired as a strategy intern in Wisconsin with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying through structured summer internship programs at large Wisconsin employers before graduation. Northwestern Mutual, American Family Insurance, and Oshkosh Corporation all run defined early-career programs that recruit students without prior strategy experience. Candidates who have completed coursework in business strategy, financial modeling, or data analytics and who can present a class project or case competition as a work sample stand out. Adjacent roles like business analyst intern or operations intern at Wisconsin regional employers also serve as strong lateral entry points.
Where can I find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Wisconsin?
You can find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Wisconsin on Migrate Mate, which lists current Wisconsin openings updated regularly. Search the available roles, find the ones that fit your program, availability, and target industry, and apply directly to each employer through the listing.
