ABOUT BESTOW
Life insurance is one of the world's most important products. It's also one of the hardest to build, distribute, and modernize. Bestow exists to change that.
Bestow is a leading vertical technology platform serving some of the largest and most innovative life insurers. Our platform unifies the fragmented, legacy value chain, enabling carriers to launch products in weeks instead of years. Carriers choose us to scale and operate at unprecedented speed, powered by AI and automation.
Bestow isn't selling policies. We're building the infrastructure that helps an entire industry move faster, reach more people, and deliver on its promise.
Backed by leading investors (Goldman Sachs, Hedosophia, NEA, Valar, 8VC) and trusted by major carriers, Bestow is powered by a team that moves with precision, purpose, and heart. If you want to help reimagine a centuries-old industry with lasting impact, join us.
Bestow offers flexible remote/hybrid work, meaningful benefits, equity, and substantial growth opportunities.
Bestow uses E-Verify to confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees. To learn more about E-Verify, including your rights and responsibilities, please visit E-Verify.gov.
ABOUT THE TEAM
BizOps at Bestow runs the cross-functional initiatives that don't fit neatly on one team's plate, and we lead how the non-engineering side of the company adopts AI in its everyday work. Bestow is enterprise SaaS technology for life insurance carriers. We modernize everything from underwriting to policy administration for partners like Nationwide, Transamerica, and USAA, and BizOps makes sure the company runs as efficiently as the platform we sell.
This internship reports directly to the BizOps Lead and puts you in the room for real strategic work. You'll own pieces of the AI transformation program, build the materials that go in front of executives, and coordinate work across departments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build the AI context layer: Help construct and maintain the knowledge base that powers Bestow's internal AI tools, structuring information so agents and teammates can actually find and use it
Own knowledge management: Organize how BizOps captures decisions, docs, and processes so nothing lives only in someone's head.
Build executive-ready materials: Produce pitch decks and financial models that go in front of department heads and the leadership team
Train people on AI skills: Run enablement sessions and build guides that raise the whole company's AI fluency, not just recommend tools, but teach people to use them well
Coordinate cross-department initiatives: Track work across teams, keep initiatives moving, and flag blockers before they become fire drills
Measure what matters: Help define and track whether our AI initiatives are actually driving adoption and results
WHO YOU ARE
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree: ideally targeting private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a strategy/operations career
Genuinely excited about AI: you already use AI tools in your own work and want to go deeper on how they change how businesses operate
Comfortable with numbers. You can build a financial model and turn analysis into a clear recommendation
A strong communicator: You write clearly, build clean decks, and can explain a complex idea to someone who wasn't in the room
Self-directed: You take an ambiguous problem, break it down, and drive it forward without waiting to be told each step
Organized and reliable: You keep multiple workstreams straight and follow through
WHY THIS ROLE
You'll learn AI transformation by actually doing it (e.g. real budget, real stakeholders, real outcomes) while getting mentorship from a team of ex-MBB consultants. For students early in their career, you’ll be gaining valuable and tangible “real world” experience that's hard to get anywhere else.

Tips for Your Operations Intern Job Search
Quantify process improvements on your resume
Operations roles reward efficiency gains, so replace vague bullet points with concrete outcomes. Describe how you reduced a workflow step, cut turnaround time, or organized a recurring process, even in a class project or campus job context.
Highlight your spreadsheet and data skills
Most operations intern postings screen for Excel or Google Sheets proficiency. List specific functions you use confidently, such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, or conditional formatting, because generic 'data skills' claims get skipped by hiring managers reviewing dozens of applications.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists operations intern openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Target postings that name a specific team
Operations intern openings tied to a named team, such as supply chain, facilities, or revenue ops, are easier to tailor your application to than generic postings. Focus your cover letter on the exact problems that team solves, not operations broadly.
Prepare a walkthrough of one end-to-end process
Interviewers for operations intern roles almost always ask you to describe how you have organized or improved something. Have one clear, structured example ready that covers the original problem, the steps you took, and the measurable result you observed.
Follow up with a process observation after interviews
A strong follow-up note for operations roles goes beyond thanks. Mention one specific inefficiency or opportunity you noticed in the interview discussion. It signals the analytical mindset operations teams are actively looking for in interns.
Operations Intern Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most operations interns?
The companies hiring the most operations interns right now include TikTok, Republic Finance, and State of North Carolina Department of Information Technology, with the largest share of openings in California, Texas, and New York, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Roles vary widely by team, so check each posting for the specific function you want to focus on.
How many operations intern jobs are remote?
About 34% of operations intern openings are fully remote or hybrid as of August 2026, though availability varies by function. Process improvement and business analytics sub-roles tend to offer the most remote flexibility, while supply chain coordination and facilities operations roles are more likely to require on-site presence.
How do you become an operations intern?
Start by building foundational skills in data analysis, process documentation, and project coordination through coursework or campus involvement. Then tailor your resume to highlight any experience organizing workflows, reducing inefficiencies, or working cross-functionally. Apply to postings that name a specific team or function so your application speaks directly to what that team does.
Can you get an operations intern job with little or no experience?
Yes, operations intern roles are among the more accessible internships for candidates without formal work history because employers expect to train. Focus your application on transferable skills like organizing events, managing group projects, or coordinating volunteers. Describe any situation where you identified a problem and created a more efficient way to handle it, even outside a professional setting.
What does the operations intern interview process look like?
Most operations intern interviews start with a phone or video screen focused on your background and interest in the role. A second round typically involves behavioral questions about how you have handled competing priorities or improved a process. Some employers add a brief case exercise or ask you to walk through a past project in detail to assess your structured thinking.
Where can I find and apply to operations intern jobs?
You can find and apply to operations intern jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Search the listings to find roles that match your skills, location preference, and area of interest within operations, then apply directly to each listing that fits your background.
