Strategy Jobs in Irving: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a strategy job in Irving?
Focus your search on Las Colinas, which hosts a dense cluster of corporate headquarters in financial services, technology, and consumer goods that routinely hire for planning and strategy functions. Candidates who combine strong financial modeling skills with experience in cross-functional project work stand out. Networking through Irving's Chamber of Commerce and the Las Colinas Association gives you access to hiring managers before roles are publicly posted.
Which companies hire strategys in Irving?
Companies currently hiring strategys in Irving include McKesson, Grupo Bimbo, and Citi, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Irving's employer base skews toward large corporate tenants and regional headquarters, meaning most openings sit inside established companies rather than early-stage startups.
Are there remote strategy jobs in Irving?
Yes, though availability depends on the specialty. Strategy roles focused on analysis, planning, and reporting tend to offer more flexibility than those tied to on-site stakeholder management or operational oversight. About 47% of strategy openings tied to Irving are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the corporate headquarters culture in Las Colinas. Competitive intelligence and financial planning roles are among the most likely to be listed as hybrid.
How can I get a strategy job in Irving with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Irving is landing a business analyst or junior planning role at one of the Las Colinas corporate campuses, where rotational programs and analyst tracks frequently feed into strategy teams. Financial services firms and large consumer goods companies headquartered in the Freeport corridor regularly hire analysts who build toward strategy work. A strong Excel and data visualization skill set, paired with a willingness to start in an operations-adjacent role, is what opens those doors locally.
Which industries hire the most strategys in Irving?
The sectors hiring the most strategys in Irving are Technology & Software, Consulting & Professional Services, and Energy, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Irving's concentration of Fortune 500 and regional headquarters in Las Colinas means corporate strategy demand is driven largely by established enterprises managing growth, M&A activity, and competitive positioning rather than by startup or government sectors.
