Job Description - Position Summary
To provide maintenance services at a multi-building residential complex. Must maintain a professional image & attitude in keeping the objectives of the company’s welfare. Must be able to take direction from Superintendent and Managing Agent and maintain positive relationships with residents and vendors.
Practices and implements conduct in accordance with established policies and procedures
Essential Job Skills & Functions
- Speak and write in English
- Comfortable with technology; email, texting and entering job data into our Property Management system.
- Interact professionally and courteously with residents to resolve their maintenance requests.
- Experience and knowledge to perform minor repairs and standard maintenance on equipment associated with buildings, grounds, fixtures, machinery and lighting, in building common areas and resident areas as requested.
- Basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems and the ability to inspect and diagnose problems.
- Basic carpentry duties, such as repair of doors and associated door hardware (locksets and closers), moldings repairs, installation and repair of shelving and cabinetry, etc.
- Basic masonry repairs, such as re-setting Belgian Block curbs, minor repairs to stone walls, filling cracks in concrete retaining walls, etc.
- Basic painting duties, such as drywall and plaster repair, painting, filling holes and cracks.
- Basic landscape duties, such as trimming shrubs and small trees, removing dead shrubs and small trees, planting annuals, watering containers without irrigation.
- Must have clean driver’s license and some snow plowing experience.
- May be required to lift and move objects.
- Responds to as needed to after-hour's emergency calls and may be required to report back to the property after hours, if needed.
- For all activities, communicates with Superintendent, or Managing Agent in the Superintendent’s absence, if outside vendors are required and ensures that these tasks are completed and closed out in a timely manner and entered into the Property Management system.
- Performs other related duties, as assigned.

- HS diploma or High School Equivalency Certificate preferred
- Valid Government issued ID
- Must attend any training courses required.
