The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Team Lead, Technical Solutions, who'll lead a team of Technical Solutions Specialists through requirements gathering, configuration, and implementation of payment solutions for our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, product management, engineering, customer success, and technical support—to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive customer satisfaction. This role combines deep technical expertise, sophisticated consultant skills, and leadership to deliver high-quality solutions while partnering with product teams on innovative feature development. You'll be the expert our customers and team turn to for guidance on payment integrations, API architecture, and complex technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Discovery
- Lead technical discussions with customers and prospects to understand use cases and propose solutions using Euna Payments' platforms.
- Translate business problems into actionable user stories and technical architecture recommendations for development teams.
- Evaluate customer API integration needs, dig into their existing systems, and guide them toward optimal integration patterns.
Technical Expertise & API Leadership
- Lead the team in API integration work—designing, reviewing, and troubleshooting REST/SOAP integrations, webhooks, and custom configurations.
- Troubleshoot complex API issues independently; reproduce problems in Postman and other tools; provide clear technical guidance to customers.
- Translate technical API concepts for non-technical stakeholders; help customers understand their own system integrations.
- Maintain hands-on involvement in critical integrations, modeling best practices for the team.
Consultant Skills & Client Management
- Remain calm and strategic during high-stakes negotiations, tight deadlines, and complex client feedback cycles.
- When a customer makes an unusual request, dig into the reasoning behind it before committing to a solution—understand their true need, not just their stated ask.
- Handle criticism professionally, even when the issue isn't your fault; use client feedback as an opportunity to improve and strengthen relationships.
- Balance the tension between fast incident response and accuracy; know when to escalate vs. resolve on your own.
- Communicate proactively—keep stakeholders informed of status, risks, and next steps; anticipate questions before they arise.
Implementation & Configuration
- Gather client requirements, synthesize them into functional configurations, and implement solutions across multiple payment products.
- Deliver high-quality solutions that meet initial requirements and core product functionality with minimal bugs.
- Lead technical status calls with clients; report back status, risks, and next steps to the project team.
Technical Leadership & Team Development
- Act as the primary point of escalation for the team; provide coaching, guidance, and mentoring on technical and consultant skills.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive environment where team members feel empowered to excel and deliver exceptional service.
- Establish and maintain best practices for API integration, technical troubleshooting, and consultant excellence.
- Develop team members' technical and soft skills through hands-on collaboration and constructive feedback.
Innovation & Collaboration
- Work with product teams to establish processes for new features and execute technical improvements.
- Deliver proofs of concept and pilots to demonstrate platform value.
- Conduct project retrospectives to capture learnings and best practices.
Quality & Customer Success
- Ensure successful implementation of new product features with minimal bugs and high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain deadlines and quality standards across multiple active projects.
- Track accurate time on tasks for billing and utilization reporting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Solutions Engineering, technical consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles with demonstrated success managing complex integrations.
- Strong hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and API webhooks; ability to troubleshoot integrations using tools like Postman.
- Proficiency with Git/version control and distributed systems.
- Ability to explain complex API concepts to non-technical stakeholders; comfort translating business needs into technical architecture.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders; strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated excellence in consultant skills: remaining calm under pressure, handling client criticism professionally, balancing speed with accuracy, and communicating proactively.
- Comfortable with public speaking and client interactions; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with product teams on new feature development and implementation.
- Understanding of financial models and principles, particularly payment processing and settlement.
Core Competencies:
- Advanced API integration and troubleshooting
- Requirements gathering, analysis, and translation to technical specifications
- Technical leadership and team mentoring
- Consultant excellence: strategic thinking, client management, emotional intelligence under pressure
- Configuration and implementation under budget and schedule
- Proficiency in database schemas, APIs, and microservice architecture
- Self-driven learner and contributor to enablement materials
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
- SQL expertise
for data reporting and analytics for customers.

Technical Solutions Engineer Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a technical solutions engineer in Georgia?
The most direct path is a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or systems engineering, followed by hands-on experience in a technical support or implementation role. Georgia does not require a state-issued license for this position. Many candidates build toward the role through junior support engineer or systems analyst positions at Georgia-based technology firms, then add vendor certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Cisco CCNA to strengthen their profile for solutions-focused openings.
How much do technical solutions engineers make in Georgia?
Technical solutions engineers in Georgia earn a median of about $98,840 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $72,580 for the lowest 10% to over $159,760 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire technical solutions engineers in Georgia?
Employers hiring technical solutions engineers in Georgia right now include UCB, Mastercard, and EAE USA, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of fintech, healthcare IT, and telecommunications companies means demand stays consistent across both established enterprise vendors and fast-growing regional technology firms.
Which Georgia cities have the most technical solutions engineer jobs?
Atlanta, Duluth, and Tucker have the most technical solutions engineer openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the bulk of the volume as the Southeast's largest enterprise technology hub, home to major corporate headquarters and regional offices for cloud, fintech, and networking companies, while Alpharetta's technology corridor and Savannah's growing logistics and port-technology sector account for a meaningful share of listings outside the immediate metro.
Are there remote technical solutions engineer jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of technical solutions engineer openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how much of the role involves software configuration, virtual demos, and cloud-based deployments rather than on-site hardware work. The most fully remote openings tend to cluster around SaaS implementation and cloud infrastructure support, where client interactions happen primarily over video and shared environments.
How can I get hired as a technical solutions engineer in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is landing a technical support engineer or IT implementation associate role at a Georgia-based technology company, then transitioning into solutions engineering after demonstrating client-facing skills. Large Georgia employers like NCR Voyix and Cisco run structured associate and rotational programs that place new graduates into pre-sales or post-sales support tracks. Earning an entry-level cloud certification such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Google Associate Cloud Engineer before applying gives candidates a measurable edge in a competitive market.
Where can I find and apply to technical solutions engineer jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to technical solutions engineer jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings across Atlanta, Alpharetta, Savannah, and surrounding areas. Find the roles that fit your experience and target companies, then apply directly to each one.
