How much do technical solutions engineers make in Texas?
Technical solutions engineers in Texas earn a median of about $130,610 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $78,730 for the lowest 10% to over $201,850 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire technical solutions engineers in Texas?
Employers hiring technical solutions engineers in Texas right now include Apple, Molex, and Bain & Company, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Yes, and more than most technical fields. About 31% of technical solutions engineer openings tied to Texas are remote or hybrid as of June 2026, reflecting how much of the role centers on calls, demos, and documentation rather than on-site hardware work. The portions of the job most commonly done remotely are product demonstrations, proposal writing, and post-sale technical onboarding for enterprise customers.
