- Develop and execute category strategies across the MarTech stack — enterprise marketing clouds, customer data platforms (CDPs), customer engagement and journey orchestration, marketing analytics and attribution, content and digital asset management, personalization, and generative AI marketing tools — that optimize costs, improve supplier performance, mitigate risk, and support enterprise business objectives.
- Lead MarTech stack assessment and rationalization initiatives, identifying overlapping capabilities, underutilized licenses, and consolidation opportunities across the marketing technology portfolio.
- Review expiring Marketing and Public Affairs agreements, identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, service improvements, cost reduction, and value creation, and support timely renewals or competitive sourcing events.
Contract Negotiation & Commercial Management

Technology Consultant Jobs in Minnesota: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a technology consultant in Minnesota?
Most technology consultant roles in Minnesota require a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field. Minnesota does not issue a state-specific license for technology consultants, so employers screen primarily on education, platform certifications, and demonstrated project experience. Earning credentials such as PMP, CompTIA, or a vendor-specific certification in Azure, AWS, or Salesforce strengthens a candidacy considerably in the Twin Cities market.
Which companies hire technology consultants in Minnesota?
Employers hiring technology consultants in Minnesota right now include RSM, MSI Metro Sales, and RBC, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of October 2026. Minnesota's large healthcare, financial services, and agribusiness sectors create particular demand for consultants with ERP, data governance, and cybersecurity experience.
Which Minnesota cities have the most technology consultant jobs?
Minneapolis, Duluth, and Mankato account for the majority of technology consultant openings in Minnesota. The Twin Cities anchor the market because of the concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major healthcare systems there, while Rochester draws consulting demand from the medical device and life sciences cluster anchored by Mayo Clinic and its affiliated organizations.
Are there remote technology consultant jobs in Minnesota?
Yes, and more than most fields. Technology consulting is well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements because much of the work involves analysis, documentation, and virtual client engagement. About 67% of technology consultant openings tied to Minnesota are remote or hybrid as of October 2026, making it a realistic option for candidates anywhere in the state. Strategic advisory and architecture roles tend to carry the most location flexibility, while hands-on implementation work often requires some on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a technology consultant in Minnesota with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is an associate consultant or analyst role within a large Minnesota employer's internal IT or digital transformation team, which often feeds into consulting-track positions. Organizations like Optum, Ameriprise, and large regional healthcare systems run structured early-career programs for candidates with relevant degrees but limited experience. Completing a recognized certification in a major platform, contributing to a portfolio project, or moving laterally from a business analyst or IT support role are the approaches that open doors most consistently in this market.
Where can I find and apply to technology consultant jobs in Minnesota?
You can find and apply to technology consultant jobs in Minnesota on Migrate Mate, which lists current Minnesota openings updated in real time. Search the listings, find the roles that match your background and goals, and apply directly to whichever ones fit.
