Most vice president sales roles in Nevada require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA valued at larger employers in Las Vegas and Reno. Nevada does not require a state-issued license specifically for sales leadership. The typical path runs through individual contributor sales roles, then sales management, and into a director position before reaching vice president level. Employers in Nevada's gaming and technology sectors often promote from within their regional offices.
How much do vice president saleses make in Nevada?
Vice president saleses in Nevada earn a median of about $109,790 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $66,320 for the lowest 10% to over $221,030 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire vice president saless in Nevada?
Companies currently hiring vice president saless in Nevada include WSP, Citi, and Aristocrat, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of November 2026. Nevada's concentration of large gaming resorts, data center operators, and financial services firms means demand for senior sales leadership is distributed across both the Las Vegas metro and the Reno-Sparks corridor.
Which Nevada cities have the most vice president sales jobs?
The cities with the most vice president sales openings in Nevada are Las Vegas, Reno, and Sparks. Las Vegas drives the bulk of demand through its massive hospitality, entertainment, and convention industry, while Henderson attracts technology and financial services employers, and Reno has grown significantly as a hub for data centers, logistics, and regional headquarters drawn by Nevada's business-friendly environment.
Are there remote vice president sales jobs in Nevada?
Yes, and more than most fields, since sales leadership at the VP level often involves managing distributed teams and national accounts that do not require a fixed office presence. About 100% of vice president sales openings tied to Nevada are remote or hybrid as of November 2026, reflecting the strategic and relationship-focused nature of the role. The most remote-friendly sub-areas are enterprise software sales and national account management, while hospitality and gaming-sector roles typically expect on-site presence in Las Vegas.
How can I get hired as a vice president sales in Nevada with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is securing an individual contributor sales role at a large Nevada employer and building a record of consistent quota achievement before moving into management. Gaming and hospitality companies in Las Vegas, including major resort operators, often run structured sales development programs that move high performers into team lead and manager roles. Lateral moves from account management, business development, or regional manager positions are common stepping stones. An MBA from a Nevada university or a Salesforce certification strengthens a candidate's profile when experience is limited.
