Position Summary / Objective
We’re seeking a storyteller and hands-on Content, Social & Video Producer to own content creation for both the Pyrotecnico and Live Events brands, reporting to the Director of Marketing. This role combines two core missions: building our brands through content and creating exceptional content for our clients. Internally, this person will be a heavy contributor to social channels and the content calendar while owning video and photo production across both brands—including show recaps, case studies, evergreen brand content, and other visual storytelling that supports marketing and sales.
The role will also help build out a premium content offering for our clients, capturing aerial, FPV, and ground footage of their shows and turning those moments into polished, social-ready content delivered on committed timelines. This person will help shape the offering as it grows, including packages, pricing, workflows, and a freelance crew model, with the opportunity to eventually lead the content capture service as it scales.
This role must be based within commuting distance of one of our Pyrotecnico or Live Events offices, with hybrid flexibility when not traveling.
Role Responsibilities
The following duties represent the primary responsibilities of the role. This list is not exhaustive. The individual in this position will perform additional tasks as assigned, adhere to all provisions of the Employee Manual, and participate in company initiatives and projects.
Content, Storytelling, & Socials
- Be a heavy contributor to the content calendar and social channels for Pyrotecnico and Live Events (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
- Craft narrative-driven content—including show recaps, sizzle reels, case studies, and behind-the-scenes stories—that connects audiences to the people, creativity, and craft behind our shows.
- Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across both brands, in partnership with the creative and communications teams.
- Track content performance and report against the marketing scorecard, including client content revenue.
Show Capture & Production
- Travel to show sites nationwide, and potentially internationally, to shoot video and photo of indoor and outdoor live events—including fireworks, drone light shows, special effects, concerts, and corporate events—with an emphasis on night shooting and fast-turnaround conditions.
- Fly camera drones, including aerial and FPV, to capture our drone shows and pyrotechnics, coordinating closely with show pilots and operations teams to ensure safe flight operations.
- Run shoots end to end, including planning, shot lists, capture, editing, and delivery—working independently or directing a small crew.
- Use AI-powered tools to augment and accelerate post-production, including editing, enhancement (upscaling, stabilization, noise reduction, and color), captioning, versioning, and repurposing footage across platforms, while maintaining clear standards around what is authentically captured.
- Create and deliver client-specific content deliverables, including raw footage, short-form vertical edits, and horizontal edits, according to established project requirements and timelines.
- Participate in pre-show content planning with clients, agencies, and account teams to align on content needs, priorities, and deliverables.
- Help define content capture packages, pricing, and delivery standards in partnership with marketing and sales leadership.
Asset & Equipment Management
- Manage media assets within the company’s digital asset library and maintain shot-list and deliverable standards.
- Maintain, organize, transport, and care for company camera, drone, and production equipment.
Work Environment
This is a travel-based field position. The majority of work takes place at outdoor live show sites, including nighttime events, variable weather, and proximity to active pyrotechnics and drone operations under established safety protocols. Remaining time is spent in an office/hybrid environment for editing, planning, and collaboration with internal teams, customers, and external agencies.
Physical Demands
This role involves extended periods of standing, walking, and shooting at outdoor event sites, often at night and in variable weather, as well as frequent air and vehicle travel and periods of sitting and working at a computer for editing and planning. The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and transport camera, drone, and production equipment up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Work hours follow the show schedule and regularly include evenings, weekends, and holidays, with schedule flexibility provided around travel and event weeks.
Travel
This is a road warrior position requiring travel up to 75%, including frequent overnight and multi-day travel to show sites nationwide, often on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required
- 3–7 years of experience producing video and social content, ideally in live events, sports, entertainment, or agency environments.
- A working understanding of the technical complexities of capturing live productions—including staged events, fireworks shows, lasers, lighting, special effects, and concerts—with an understanding of exposure, timing, and positioning in unrepeatable, one-take conditions.
- A proven storyteller with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to find and shape a narrative, not just capture footage—including short-form social video with demonstrated performance.
- Strong shooting fundamentals in demanding outdoor conditions, including low light, night, pyrotechnics, weather, and crowds.
- Expert-level editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro or similar), including hands-on experience with AI-assisted editing and enhancement tools in a professional workflow.
- Ability to plan and execute a shoot end to end and consistently deliver on hard deadlines.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Client-facing professionalism—the ability to represent the company confidently and professionally at customer events.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and protect the internal content calendar while on the road.
Preferred
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate and demonstrated aerial videography experience, or willingness to obtain the certification.
- FPV drone proficiency and experience shooting drone light shows or coordinating camera drones near swarm operations.
- Experience with generative AI video and image tools, with a clear point of view on where they fit within an authentic brand content workflow.
- Photography skills, particularly event and product photography.
- Motion graphics experience (Adobe After Effects or similar).
- Livestream production experience.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar marketing platform, as well as digital asset management systems.
- A passion for or previous experience in the live events, entertainment, or experiential industry.

Video Content Creator Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a video content creator in Florida?
Video content creation in Florida has no state-issued license or registration requirement, so the path centers on building a strong portfolio and relevant education. Most Florida employers look for candidates with a degree or coursework in film production, communications, digital media, or a related field. Starting out as a production assistant, junior editor, or social media coordinator at a Florida studio, agency, or media company is the most direct route to a full video content creator role.
Which companies hire video content creators in Florida?
Florida video content creator roles are posted by BoatEye360, Live Events, and GrantWatch and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's mix of entertainment studios, tourism brands, sports franchises, and advertising agencies creates consistent demand for video talent across the state.
Which Florida cities have the most video content creator jobs?
