Basic Job Functions:
Nucor-Yamato Steel is seeking applicants for Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for oversight of all mechanical maintenance of an NYS production area, to include predictive and preventive maintenance solutions, project coordination, equipment reliability and team development. Area of responsibility will be determined based on overall strengths of the successful candidate and the maintenance leadership team. The successful candidate will be expected to lead, motivate, develop and assist a team while demonstrating commitment to team and individual growth, continual improvement, cost effectiveness and innovation. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Requirements:
- 4 years of Leadership experience
- 4 years of Industrial Mechanical Maintenance and Engineering Principles
- 4 years of steel manufacturing experience
