The Impact You'll Make
The primary function of this position is to operate rubber extruder machines to cover hose with rubber.
This is a 3rd Shift position, with work hours from 10:45 pm to 7:00 am, Sunday through Thursday.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform rubber extrusion service functions, including pin, die, stock, and mandrel changes, and ensure mandrels and tooling are cleaned, maintained, and returned properly after use
- Set up and operate extrusion equipment by correctly installing vacuum cones, following extruder specification sheets, and completing all required production documentation
- Monitor product quality by checking concentricity and ensuring compliance with established specifications and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area while supporting continuous production operations
- Assist fellow operators, cross-train in multiple functions, and provide operational flexibility across the department
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and company guidelines and perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED is required
- One (1) year of manufacturing experience is preferred
