MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, or equivalent in closely related field.
- Must have 3 years’ supervisory experience.
- Must possess professional and expert knowledge of family dynamics and methods of crisis intervention.
- Must have solid computer and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
- Must be able and willing to work some hours outside of normal working hours to respond to emergencies or to otherwise meet the needs of the people we serve and their families.
- Must possess professional and expert knowledge of communications, as well as building and maintaining relationships.
- Must be willing to travel between Overture Colorado locations.
- Expertise and professional experience managing programs for people with developmental and intellectual disabilities, or related background in other social service fields.
- Experience in leading and managing personnel, ideally in social services realm. Expert knowledge of family dynamics and methods for crisis intervention.
- Must have consistent access to reliable transportation.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License from the state in which you reside, maintain a clean driving record, and proof of insurance per company insurance guidelines.
- Must pass a motor vehicle record (MVR), background check, and other screening per Company requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Included, but not limited to):
- Determine Program Coordinator assignments with Residential Program Managers. Maintain detail for your region’s status, such as number of staff, number of individuals served, billing status, etc. and provide financial details for expenses related to your area, including mileage, medical supplements, moves, recognition, etc.
- Support direct reports with problem-solving and decision-making in both a crisis and day-to-day operations and help develop their skills and understanding to handle these challenges as independently as possible.
- Support Program Coordinators & Program Managers in facilitating any emergency moves of current people in services or those from other agencies looking for emergency placement.
- Monitor caseload distribution and recommend changes as needed to ensure that workloads are equal, and your direct reports are able to effectively support the people we serve.
- Available to cover or support placements or intakes, assisting team with maintaining relationships, negotiating placement terms, and/or other extenuating circumstances that would benefit from extra support and attention.
- Rotate weeks to cover back up on call with Residential Program Managers/designee. Be available as backup support to emergency on-call representative with critical incidents and other issues requiring management support.
- Ensure that corrective action from internal and external QA audits is completed in a timely fashion. Maintain accuracy and completeness of regulatory files at Overture, including but not limited to Termination Notices, Complaint Logs, Home Visit Checklists, Investigations, Quality Assurance Masters, etc.
- Identify and initiate the need for internal reviews to ensure quality assurance standards are met for documentation requirements and service and support delivery.
- Establish relationships with families/guardians/advocates of the individuals served in your area and assist team with monthly communication efforts.
- Solicit feedback from the individuals we serve and their representatives on their satisfaction with services to determine where your region is exceeding and areas of improvement or growth.
- Collaborate on referrals and any moves of the people we serve, and coordinate communication amongst all departments in the area as appropriate.
- Responsible for region’s overall census and meeting or exceeding departmental goals for growth, through establishing strategic goals for team, exceeding customer service standards, networking, fostering relationships with guardians/families/advocacy organizations/case management, and analyzing trends or opportunities for growth.
- Responsible for monitoring residential team’s documentation and ensuring paperwork is completed on time, accurately, and up to Overture standards. Analyze region’s performance and develop performance improvement plans to address compliance issues.
