Position Summary
The Supply Chain Intern will gain hands-on experience working closely with our logistics and accounting teams. This internship follows a hybrid work schedule with two days per week in the office and three days remote, providing flexibility as you support various supply chain activities.
What You’ll Do:
- Process Freight PO’s in Syspro for turf shipments.
- Enter, adjust, and update shipment data in freight sheets.
- Assist with Goods Received Notes (GRNs) and supplier invoice reconciliation.
- Coordinate with Accounting and Logistics to resolve carrier invoice discrepancies and PO adjustments.
- Provide administrative support, including pickup coordination, shipment tracing, and status updates.
- Request freight quotes for upcoming project bids.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Outlook to manage data and communications.
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
