WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Nike’s New Business & Corporate Development team is responsible for identifying, modeling, structuring, negotiating, executing and integrating inorganic opportunities and new business models that drive exponential growth for Nike, Inc. These include M&A, strategic investments, strategic partnerships, and other transactions.
You will partner closely with senior enterprise leaders and regularly engage executive leadership in support of strategic analyses, transaction execution, and growth initiatives.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 8+ years of proven experience in investment banking, private equity/venture capital, or corporate development
- Experience leading transaction structuring, negotiation, execution and integration
- Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis, with particular emphasis on financial modeling & diligence
- Proven ability to work on cross‑functional teams, influence leadership and drive project momentum forward
- A knack for framing opportunities, synthesizing challenging concepts and comfort with ambiguity
- Can‑do attitude and history of making stuff happen independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and oral communication and superior interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Strong passion for Nike and a demonstrated ability to translate that passion into disciplined business outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex workstreams and drive transactions forward with limited oversight
- Strong business judgment with the ability to surface key risks, tradeoffs, and clear recommendations to senior leaders

- Build comprehensive business cases and strategic rationale supporting specific transactions, and drive leadership alignment and support
- Synthesize enterprise strategy to identify outsized growth opportunities and the capabilities required to deliver against them
- Identify, execute, and lead co-lead key growth opportunities in collaboration with senior leaders, internal teams, and external stakeholders to deliver against growth initiatives
- Develop an always‑evolving and nuanced understanding of external innovation and marketplace ecosystems
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across business units to identify unique growth opportunities
- Develop and influence deal‑specific working teams that include relevant stakeholders from key enabling functions (Legal, Accounting, Tax, etc.)
- Develop and cultivate a high‑quality, thematically aligned external network across investors, founders, and advisors relevant to Nike’s priority growth themes
- Lead engagement with third‑party stakeholders as needed (CEOs, legal counsel, advisors, etc.)
- Own critical analytical and executional workstreams across M&A, investments, and strategic partnerships—from initial hypothesis through transaction close and integration support
- Provide informal mentorship and guidance to junior team members, helping elevate analytical rigor, pacing, and execution standards.
