Our exclusive golf community is placed on 650-acres of rolling hills, cascading waterfalls, and black rock cliffs. Within the gates of Black Rock, you will find a Jim Engh designed championship golf course which is one of the premier golf experiences in the country.
The Golf Club at Black Rock is currently accepting applications for the 2026 season. We are seeking highly motivated individuals that want to be part of our fast paced, high-energy environment. The Beach Attendant is responsible for promoting the safety, enjoyment and overall experience of all beach users. This position includes monitoring beach activity, food and beverage service, advising members and guests on the proper use of equipment, and enforcing beachfront rules and procedures. If you are self-motivated, gregarious, possess a strong attention to detail and work well in a team atmosphere, you are a perfect fit for our team.
Start and end dates are flexible, but ideally, we would like team members to commit to working from the beginning of June through the end of September 2026.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Must be 19 years or older
- Greet Members and Guests and ensure they sign in upon arrival
- Verify Member and Guest status before use of beach facilities or equipment
- Train individuals on the proper use of beach equipment, paddle boards and other watercraft, and maintain records of needs and beach use
- Enforce beach rules and manage the checkout and return of equipment
- Ensure an adequate supply of clean towels and drinking water is available at all times
- Collect and remove used towels for cleaning
- Perform general maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean, safe, and organized beach facility
- Rake the sand and help maintain the condition and integrity of watercraft and beach equipment
- Complete daily setup and breakdown of beach equipment
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times while providing a high level of customer service
- Performs other duties as assigned
