Which hospitality companies sponsor Green Card visas in Indiana?
Large hotel operators and resort properties are the most common sponsors in Indiana. Properties affiliated with Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt in Indianapolis, as well as destination resorts like French Lick Resort and Caesars Southern Indiana, have historically filed labor certifications for hospitality workers. Convention center operators and larger food and beverage management companies in the state are also known to sponsor permanent residence for long-term employees.
Which cities in Indiana have the most hospitality Green Card sponsorship jobs?
Indianapolis accounts for the largest share of hospitality Green Card sponsorship activity in Indiana, driven by its convention hotel market, sports venues, and a growing restaurant scene downtown. French Lick and Elizabeth see sponsorship activity tied to their resort and casino properties. Bloomington and Fort Wayne have smaller but active hotel and food service markets where sponsorship occasionally surfaces for specialized or supervisory roles.
What types of hospitality roles typically qualify for Green Card sponsorship in Indiana?
EB-3 sponsorship in Indiana's hospitality sector most commonly covers roles like executive chef, sous chef, hotel general manager, food and beverage director, and banquet manager. Front-of-house supervisory positions and culinary specialists with demonstrable expertise also appear in PERM filings. Roles requiring a specific degree or specialized training are more straightforward to certify, though any position can be sponsored if the employer completes the required labor market test.
How do I find hospitality Green Card sponsorship jobs in Indiana?
Migrate Mate filters job listings specifically by visa sponsorship type, so you can search for Green Card-sponsored hospitality roles in Indiana without sorting through positions that don't offer sponsorship. The platform aggregates openings from hotels, resorts, and food service employers across Indianapolis, French Lick, and other Indiana markets. Filtering by the Green Card category and the Hospitality and Tourism industry tag narrows results to employers actively willing to support permanent residence.
Are there any Indiana-specific considerations for Green Card sponsorship in hospitality?
Indiana does not have a state-level immigration sponsorship program, so all Green Card pathways follow federal PERM and USCIS processes. The seasonality of Indiana's resort and casino properties can affect sponsorship timing, since employers generally initiate PERM filings for permanent positions rather than seasonal roles. Indianapolis's convention calendar drives year-round staffing demand at major hotels, which tends to support more consistent sponsorship activity compared to smaller leisure markets in the state.
What is the prevailing wage for Green Card hospitality jobs in Indiana?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
