ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer for our Process Development team. Successful candidate will:
- Use CAD tools to simulate, test and document new process tooling and fixtures.
- Create detailed specifications for new manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct, document and track design reviews.
- Generate project plan and document per Engineering Department procedures.
- Participate on and lead teams as required.
- Generate preliminary estimates for Capital Investment Plan.
- Conduct Stack-up analysis, be familiar with DFMEA, and Cpk/Ppk/Gage R&R.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Mechanical Engineering or similar Engineering degree from a four-year college or university required, with 3 years minimum Engineering experience within an automation-manufacturing environment. CAD systems (Solidworks preferred), GD&T, tolerance analysis (stack-ups), DFMEA’s. Candidate should possess analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, along with strong PC skills. Must be self-motivated and able to demonstrate the ability to manage difficult situations and be able to balance team and individual responsibilities.
