Responsibilities:

• Operate various asphalt plant machines such as, loader, bull dozer, excavator, and skid steer

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of asphalt plant

• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, (ie. lubricating and fueling) while overhead/stooping

• Ability to read schematics and tech manuals, use internet to resolve issues

• Ensure materials are correctly dumped while walking on unstable aggregates via visual inspection

• Safely move dirt, rock and other construction related material

• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections on equipment

• Adhere to all safety standards

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant asphalt plant experience

• Ability to work 5-6 days a week, 8-12 hours a day

• Work in extreme weather conditions

• Lift up to 75 pounds

• Mount and dismount equipment safely 6+ feet

• Sit for extended periods of time
