INTRODUCTION
Quera Computing is seeking an undergraduate intern/co-op to support our Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain, the incumbent will contribute to and gain hands-on experience with the following:
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Procurement Planning: Assist the Supply Chain Manager in developing strategies to secure time sensitive items at or before schedule.
- Managing the day-to-day procurement process which includes but is not limited to:
- Purchase Order Generation and Distribution
- Vendor Management (Domestic and International)
- Oversight of On-Time Deliveries
- Return Material Authorizations
- Provide Order Status reports to R&D and Engineering teams.
- Negotiate Payment and Shipping Terms with Vendors.
- Work with Inventory Manager in order replenishment of backstock materials.
- Work with Finance with invoicing issues, part costing, and three way match.
- Work with Supply Chain manager in vetting a purchasing modules during an ERP implementation.
- Create Supply Chain workflows as it relates to Purchasing.
- Manage inbound logistics from vendors and customs clearance.
- Report out landed costs to Supply Chain Manager and Finance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate student with a focus in Supply Chain, Finance or related field
- Well-rounded organizational and communication skills
- Eagerness to gain experience working within a high growth start-up
COMPENSATION
- The hiring range for this co-op opportunity is $32-36 hourly.
