Since launching in April, we’ve grown 10x and are now powering pre-litigation for top law firms across the country. We combine expert operators with purpose-built AI to handle intake, claim opening, medical records, police reports, lien management, demands, and everything in between.
We’re backed by Sequoia, Redpoint, and the founders & CEOs of generational companies like DoorDash, Ironclad, and Digits. We’re rebuilding how the law serves everyday Americans from first principles, and we’re hiring exceptional operators to help us scale it nationwide.
This Role

- Act as the first point of contact for existing clients and vendors, setting a calm, friendly tone that helps callers feel heard and supported
- Ask thoughtful, focused questions to understand the purpose and urgency of each call or message
- Route calls to the appropriate case managers or legal staff, ensuring messages are delivered even when transfers go to voicemail
- Document and summarize inbound communications clearly and consistently so legal teams have full context
- Maintain responsiveness and reliability as a core builder of trust between law firms and their clients
Your Team: Legal Operations

- Naturally lead with empathy and patience when speaking with clients
- Can represent multiple organizations accurately while maintaining a friendly, approachable tone
- Pay close attention to detail and follow communication standards consistently
- Stay organized and composed while handling a high volume of inbound requests
- Are comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Take pride in helping people feel supported during important moments
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Compensation
- $40,000 – $47,000 annual salary
Additional benefits include:
- 100% coverage for health, dental, and vision
- 401(k) retirement plan
- In-office snacks, drinks, and daily team lunch and dinners
- Flexible PTO (we trust you to take the time you need)
Why This Role Matters

Which technology companies sponsor F-1 CPT visas in New York?
Large technology employers with significant New York operations, including Google, Amazon Web Services, IBM, Bloomberg, Salesforce, and Oracle, have historically hired F-1 CPT students. New York's fintech sector adds companies like Stripe, Brex, and various hedge fund technology divisions. Sponsorship practices vary by team, role, and program structure, so confirming CPT authorization directly with the employer's HR or recruiting team is essential.
Which cities in New York have the most technology F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan accounts for the large majority of technology CPT roles in New York State, particularly in Midtown, the Flatiron District, and the Hudson Yards tech cluster. Brooklyn's DUMBO neighborhood hosts a concentration of startups and mid-size software companies. Albany has some technology presence tied to state government IT contracts, but the overwhelming share of CPT-eligible tech internships and co-op positions remain within New York City.
What types of technology roles typically qualify for F-1 CPT sponsorship in New York?
Software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, cybersecurity, UX research, and product management internships are the most common CPT-eligible technology roles in New York. Roles must be directly related to your field of study and authorized through your Designated School Official before you begin work. New York employers in adtech, fintech, and enterprise SaaS frequently structure formal internship programs designed to accommodate F-1 CPT authorization timelines.
How do I find technology F-1 CPT sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international students seeking visa-sponsored roles, including technology F-1 CPT positions in New York. You can filter by visa type, state, and industry to surface employers that have actively sponsored CPT students in the tech sector. Because CPT sponsorship willingness varies significantly by company and even by team, using a platform that filters for this specifically saves considerable time compared to general job searches.
Are there any New York-specific considerations for F-1 CPT sponsorship in technology?
New York City's competitive technology hiring market means CPT timelines matter more than in less competitive markets. Many New York employers run structured internship cycles with fixed start dates, typically May or June for summer, so DSO authorization needs to be secured well in advance. New York State also has active university-employer partnership programs, particularly through NYU, Columbia, and Cornell Tech, which can expand CPT-eligible placement options in technology.
