- Partner cross-functionally with Hardware Engineering, Global Supply Management, Operations, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to translate product roadmaps into executable material plans.
- Lead structured reviews to assess supply risk, allocation exposure, and capacity constraints, and drive mitigation plans to closure.
- Monitor demand, supply, and inventory signals to balance continuity of supply with working capital efficiency and inventory health.
- Coordinate with internal manufacturing sites and external partners (CM/ODM/JDM) to ensure alignment across all build locations and ramp scenarios.
- Establish disciplined tracking mechanisms for material availability, shortages, recovery plans, and ramp readiness, with clear communication and escalation of risks that could impact launch timing or customer commitments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 8+ years of experience in materials program management, supply planning, or operations program management within a high-volume hardware or consumer electronics environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting material readiness for NPI and high-volume production, ideally within CM, ODM, or JDM manufacturing models.
- Strong analytical and program management capabilities, with experience aligning demand, supply, and manufacturing execution to program schedules.
- Experience working across global manufacturing footprints and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, supply chain, operations, and finance.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while building scalable processes and driving structured execution.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 15%) to support manufacturing sites and key supply partners as needed.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

Which consumer goods companies in Massachusetts sponsor H-1B visas?
Several established consumer goods companies in Massachusetts have a history of H-1B visa sponsorship, including Bose Corporation in Framingham, Converse in Boston, Hasbro in Pawtucket (with Massachusetts operations), and Edgewell Personal Care. Larger consumer goods divisions of companies with Massachusetts offices, such as Procter and Gamble or Colgate-Palmolive, also file H-1B petitions for specialty occupation roles in the state. Sponsorship activity varies year to year based on hiring needs.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most consumer goods H-1B sponsorship jobs?
Greater Boston, including Cambridge and Somerville, concentrates the highest volume of consumer goods H-1B roles due to its density of corporate offices and innovation centers. The MetroWest corridor, particularly Framingham and Marlborough, is notable for mid-size consumer goods employers. Worcester and the Route 128 technology belt also host consumer goods operations with occasional H-1B sponsorship activity, particularly in product engineering and operations.
What types of consumer goods roles typically qualify for H-1B sponsorship in Massachusetts?
H-1B sponsorship in consumer goods is generally limited to specialty occupation roles requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field. In Massachusetts, this most often includes data scientists, supply chain analysts, product engineers, digital marketing managers with technical specializations, and research and development scientists. General marketing, retail operations, and sales roles typically do not meet the specialty occupation standard and are rarely sponsored.
How do I find consumer goods H-1B sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for international job seekers and filters job listings by visa sponsorship type, industry, and state, making it straightforward to browse consumer goods H-1B roles in Massachusetts. Rather than sorting through thousands of unfiltered postings, you can focus directly on employers that have indicated H-1B sponsorship willingness for consumer goods positions in the state, saving significant time in your search.
Are there any Massachusetts-specific considerations for H-1B sponsorship in consumer goods?
Massachusetts has a relatively high cost of living, which affects the prevailing wage calculations employers must meet under H-1B rules. Employers filing Labor Condition Applications for consumer goods roles in Greater Boston will typically face higher prevailing wage requirements compared to other U.S. markets. Additionally, Massachusetts has strong worker protections that apply to H-1B employees, including state-level non-compete restrictions that can affect employment agreement terms in the consumer goods sector.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B consumer goods jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
