Which e-commerce companies in Massachusetts sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas?
Wayfair, based in Boston, is one of the most active e-commerce employers in Massachusetts and has a documented history of sponsoring specialty occupation workers. Other companies with e-commerce operations in the state, including logistics technology and online marketplace firms in the Greater Boston area, have filed Labor Condition Applications for Singapore nationals. Reviewing OFLC disclosure data by employer and job title gives the clearest picture of current sponsorship activity.
Which cities in Massachusetts have the most e-commerce H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Boston is the primary hub, with the largest concentration of e-commerce employers and technology companies that file H-1B1 Singapore LCAs. Cambridge hosts several technology and SaaS companies whose platforms support e-commerce operations. Waltham and Somerville have growing tech employment bases with e-commerce adjacent roles. Worcester and Burlington also have employer presence, though at lower volume than the core Boston metro.
What types of e-commerce roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that qualify must meet the H-1B1 visa specialty occupation standard, requiring at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. In e-commerce, this commonly includes software engineers, data scientists, product managers, UX researchers, digital marketing analysts, and supply chain technology specialists. General sales, warehouse operations, and customer service positions typically do not qualify because they don't require a specific degree field. The O*NET occupation profile for a given role can help clarify degree requirements.
How do I find e-commerce H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in Massachusetts?
Migrate Mate surfaces verified employer LCA filing history filtered specifically for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship, so you can identify Massachusetts e-commerce companies that have sponsored Singapore nationals rather than guessing. You can filter by job title, location, and industry to focus on e-commerce roles in the Boston metro. This approach saves time compared to applying broadly to employers who have no H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history.
Are there Massachusetts-specific or e-commerce-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Massachusetts does not impose additional state-level requirements on H-1B1 visa sponsorship beyond federal standards. For e-commerce roles specifically, employers must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL certifying the offered wage meets the prevailing wage for the occupation and location. The OFLC Wage Search tool shows prevailing wages by occupation and metro area in Massachusetts. Because Boston has above-average wage levels, employers must reflect that in their LCA wage attestation, which can affect which roles and companies actively pursue sponsorship.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore e-commerce jobs in Massachusetts?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
