Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ED) | Mercy St. Louis
Overview
Join the Emergency Department at Mercy St. Louis, where experienced nurses thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that demands strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and teamwork. As a member of our ED team, you'll care for a diverse patient population ranging from minor illnesses and injuries to complex medical emergencies, trauma, stroke, cardiac, and critical care cases.
The Emergency Department offers experienced nurses the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, utilizing advanced assessment skills and evidence-based interventions to deliver timely, life-saving care. Working alongside emergency physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams, ED nurses play a vital role in rapid decision-making, patient stabilization, and care coordination across the continuum.
At Mercy St. Louis, you'll find a collaborative culture that values clinical expertise, professional growth, and nurse leadership. Whether serving as a resource for peers, mentoring newer nurses, or taking on advanced clinical responsibilities, you'll be part of a team committed to delivering exceptional care when patients need it most.

Part Time Shifts Available:
- Two 8-hour shifts - 7a-3p, 11a-7p, 3p-11p, 7p-3a, 11p-7a
- Two 12-hour shifts - 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
Licensure:
- Must obtain/maintain a current RN license (state or compact)
- Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements
Certifications:
- BLS (AHA) required — or completed within 30 days of hire ❤️
