Which medical devices companies in Nebraska are known to sponsor TN visas?
Streck, headquartered in La Vista near Omaha, is one of Nebraska's prominent medical devices employers and has hired TN visa-eligible professionals in scientific and technical roles. Medtronic maintains a presence in the Omaha metro, and Bryan Health in Lincoln employs clinical and biomedical engineering staff. Larger device distributors and contract manufacturers operating in Nebraska also file Labor Condition Applications for TN-qualifying positions, particularly in engineering and quality roles.
Which cities in Nebraska have the most medical devices TN sponsorship jobs?
Omaha is the primary hub for medical devices employment in Nebraska, with the metro area hosting device manufacturers, distributors, and health system procurement operations. Lincoln follows as the state capital and home to several health system employers and biomedical technology firms. Smaller markets like Kearney and Grand Island have limited but growing medical device presence tied to regional hospital systems and manufacturing operations.
How do I find medical devices TN sponsorship jobs in Nebraska?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for TN visa holders and filters Nebraska medical devices postings by employers with verified TN sponsorship history, so you're not applying blind. Search by role type, biomedical engineer, quality engineer, clinical specialist, and filter to Nebraska to surface active openings at companies already familiar with TN documentation requirements. Migrate Mate surfaces DOL Labor Condition Application data so you can see which Nebraska employers have filed for TN-eligible medical devices roles.
What types of medical devices roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in Nebraska?
Roles that qualify under the TN category in medical devices generally include biomedical engineers, quality engineers, regulatory affairs specialists, clinical applications specialists with a relevant degree, and manufacturing engineers. Positions requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, biology, chemistry, or a directly related scientific field are the strongest fits. Sales roles without a required technical degree and general management positions typically do not qualify for TN status.
Are there any Nebraska-specific considerations for medical devices TN sponsorship?
Nebraska does not impose state-level visa sponsorship requirements beyond federal TN rules, but employers must comply with DOL prevailing wage standards for the Omaha or Lincoln metropolitan statistical areas, which affect the wage floor for TN-supported roles. Nebraska's medical devices sector skews toward manufacturing and quality functions rather than R&D, so most TN filings in the state are tied to engineering and technical positions rather than research scientist roles. Confirming that a role's listed duties and degree requirements align with a recognized TN professional category is essential before applying.
