Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year

A bit about us: Are you a senior accountant with a passion for numbers and a knack for financial analysis? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our high-performing Finance team. This is a Fully Remote (paid travel to go in office 1x a quarter) permanent position based out of NYC that offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and exciting environment. JOB DETAILS

Responsibilities: As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
2. Participating in tax audits and payroll.
3. Preparing budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
4. Managing month-end and year-end closing.
5. Monitoring the daily performance of the accounting department.
6. Organizing financial data into usable information and maintain updated records.
7. Ensuring compliance with the law.
8. Conducting detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
9. Analyzing financial trends.
10. Performing month-end and year-end close process.
11. Preparing accurate quarterly and annual financial reports.

QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree in a related field or a CPA is a plus.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting or related field.
3. In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficiency in ASC 350, ASC 360, and ASC 842 is a plus.
5. Experience with NetSuite and other financial management software is a plus.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with Excel.
7. Strong understanding of financial and accounting procedures.
8. Experience in preparing financial statements and budget reports.
9. Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.
10. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
11. Ability to handle confidential information.
12. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
13. Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
