ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining all material (article) master data within the SAP/ERP environment. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Design, Sales, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure that finished goods along with their associated bills of materials (BOMs), components and routings, are accurately defined and maintained in the system, allowing downstream processes to occur effectively throughout the organization. The analyst is also expected to adhere to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) while proactively identifying opportunities to improve data quality, process efficiency, and overall operational effectiveness.
- Monitor and respond to master data requests and inquiries in accordance with established SLAs
- Review material master data requests submitted by various departments to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to data creation in the system
- Create and maintain material master data in the ERP system accurately and in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) as systems and processes evolve
- Maintain prompt and open communication with stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely issue resolution
- Create and maintain process documentation to support training, process consistency and user self-service
- Participate and collaborate with cross-functional teams within and outside of IT to support strategic project initiatives as needed, including but not limited to requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and production support
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and data quality, and communicate recommendations to team leads and relevant stakeholders
- Remain flexible and perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- One (1) to Three (3) years of experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP

- The location for this position is 100% on-site in Buffalo, NY
- 0% to 5%; domestic and/or global.
COMPENSATION
- The salary range for this posted position is $55,000 - $63,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
