ETS - Futures & Options Sales
Buy-side and sell-side professionals strive to achieve best execution across multiple asset classes. The Bloomberg Professional Service provides trading solutions and sophisticated analytics to help meet these needs, all on a single platform. Bloomberg’s Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS) platform, powered by our Enterprise Solutions, delivers end-to-end workflows that allow clients to stage, monitor, trade, allocate, and perform TCA on their trades directly from the Bloomberg Terminal. Our solutions integrate seamlessly with clients’ Order Management Systems (OMS) and Execution Management Systems (EMS) across asset classes.
What’s the role?
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Futures & Options Sales professional with a strong new business development mindset to expand Bloomberg’s footprint across the institutional trading community. This is a true sales role - requiring consistent prospecting, client engagement, pipeline management, and deal execution. You will play a pivotal role in positioning Bloomberg’s Futures & Options platforms as the premier derivatives trading solution for both buy-side and sell-side clients. You’ll lead with insight, demonstrating how our trading tools integrate seamlessly with the Bloomberg ecosystem to deliver value across pre-trade analytics, liquidity access, automation, portfolio execution, and post-trade insight. As part of the ETS sales team, you’ll identify and convert new opportunities by running the full sales cycle - from discovery and demo through negotiation and close. You’ll deliver high-impact presentations, engage senior decision-makers, and partner closely with account management and product stakeholders to drive adoption and growth.
We’ll Trust You To
- Drive new business by proactively prospecting, qualifying, and closing new derivatives trading opportunities across hedge funds, asset managers, and other institutional clients.
- Own the full sales cycle - from initial outreach and workflow discovery to live demonstrations, proposal development, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, tracking progress and accurately forecasting opportunities through disciplined CRM and account management.
- Understand client workflows in depth, identify execution pain points, and position Bloomberg’s solutions as the optimal fit.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Product, and Enterprise Sales teams to deliver holistic, enterprise-grade solutions.
- Represent Bloomberg’s ETS at client meetings, industry events, and conferences as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert.
You'll Need To Have
- Proven success in financial technology or trading system sales, ideally focused on EMS/OMS or execution platforms.
- Strong sales acumen and prospecting discipline, with a demonstrated ability to generate and close new business.
- Deep understanding of multi-asset trading, execution strategies, and market structure across buy-side and sell-side institutions.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, comfortable engaging from trader level to C-suite.
- A consultative and solution-oriented approach, able to translate complex trading workflows into compelling business value.
- High energy, persistence, and accountability for achieving measurable sales results.

Which media and entertainment companies sponsor H-1B1 Singapore visas in New York?
New York-based media and entertainment employers with H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history include NBCUniversal, Paramount Global, Warner Bros. Discovery, Sony Music Entertainment, and Bloomberg Media. Streaming platforms and advertising technology firms in the city also file H-1B1 applications for Singapore nationals in qualifying specialty roles. Sponsorship patterns vary by employer and role, so reviewing DOL Labor Condition Application filings provides the most accurate picture.
Which cities in New York have the most media and entertainment H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs?
Manhattan accounts for the large majority of media and entertainment H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship activity in New York State, given the concentration of broadcast networks, streaming companies, music labels, and advertising agencies headquartered there. Brooklyn has a growing presence in film production and digital media. Albany and Buffalo have far fewer opportunities in this industry for H-1B1 Singapore candidates.
What types of media and entertainment roles typically qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship?
Roles that commonly qualify for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in media and entertainment require at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related specialty field. Examples include software engineers building streaming infrastructure, data analysts working in audience measurement, UX designers on digital products, and content technology managers. Creative roles like on-screen talent or general production assistants typically do not meet the specialty occupation definition required for H-1B1 classification.
How do I find media and entertainment H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship jobs in New York?
Migrate Mate filters media and entertainment jobs in New York specifically by H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship history, so you can see which employers have filed Labor Condition Applications for Singapore nationals in this industry. This saves significant time compared to manually searching DOL disclosure data. Searching on Migrate Mate lets you target roles at companies like NBCUniversal or Paramount Global that already have an established H-1B1 filing record in New York.
Are there any New York-specific considerations for H-1B1 Singapore sponsorship in media and entertainment?
New York's entertainment industry operates on project-based and full-time contract structures, but H-1B1 Singapore status requires a bona fide employer-employee relationship with a U.S. employer filing a certified LCA for a specialty occupation. Project-based or freelance arrangements typically do not support H-1B1 sponsorship. New York's media employers are also subject to state wage laws, which interact with DOL prevailing wage requirements that the employer must satisfy as part of the LCA certification process.
What is the prevailing wage for H-1B1 Singapore media & entertainment jobs in New York?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
