We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on vehicles and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems on small engines. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with their hands, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Vehicles ranging from pickups up to 1 tons and semi-tractor and trailers, completing maintenance & repairs. This includes engine maintenance, service, testing and inspecting engines for malfunctioning parts.
- Dismantles and removes engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other components, and checks parts.
- Repairs and replaces worn and defective parts and reassembles mechanical components, and refers to service manuals as needed.
- Performs skilled repair and maintenance of primarily vehicles ranging from pickups up to 1 tons and semi-tractor and trailers.
