What visa types are most common for distribution & wholesale jobs in Ohio?
H-1B visas dominate for professional roles like supply chain analysts, logistics engineers, and inventory management specialists in Ohio's distribution sector. L-1 visas are common for international companies transferring managers to Ohio operations, while TN visas serve Canadian and Mexican professionals in qualifying roles. E-3 visas benefit Australian citizens in specialty occupations, and O-1 visas apply to individuals with extraordinary ability in operations or technology innovation.

Migrate Mate specializes in connecting international professionals with Ohio distribution and wholesale employers who sponsor work visas. The platform filters opportunities by location and industry, showing current openings at companies like Kroger, Cardinal Health, and Amazon facilities across Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland. Focus your search on supply chain, logistics engineering, and operations management roles where sponsorship is most common in Ohio's distribution sector.
Which Ohio cities have the most distribution & wholesale visa sponsorship opportunities?

Are there specific considerations for distribution & wholesale visa sponsorship in Ohio?
Ohio's central location and transportation infrastructure create high demand for supply chain professionals with specialized skills in automation, data analytics, and logistics optimization. Ohio State University and other local institutions provide pipelines for STEM graduates, but international professionals often find opportunities in senior roles where specialized experience commands premium compensation.
What is the prevailing wage for sponsored distribution & wholesale jobs in Ohio?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
