Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Location: Columbus, OH
Reports To: Supervisor of Merchandising
Servicing Zip Code (and surrounding areas): 43201
Compensation:
- Competitive Wage $18 to include Travel time between accounts is paid.
- Retention and/or Referral Bonus after 3 months. See Program Details for eligibility.
Direct Reports: None
Schedule:
- Assigned stores are serviced on designated weekdays according to the established schedule.
Travel: Travel expected up to 100% of the time to cover territory
Requirements
- 6 months-1 year merchandising experience required.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to multitask and detail-oriented
- Professional demeanor
- Adherence to the company’s attendance policy
- Reliable transportation
- Able to use Movista and/or other company-required applications
- Personal cell phone and mobile device, such as a smartphone
- Experience with Word, Excel, the internet, and email
Employment contingent on background check, 4 panel drug test (does not include THC), and MVR clearance.
Summary of Responsibilities:
75% Merchandising
- Work within a retail environment to effectively merchandise products by applying appropriate store and/or corporate guidelines.
- Safely and efficiently replenish product. May assemble shelves/racks and display cases following measurement guidelines.
- Service all stores as scheduled within the allotted hours provided by Supervisor. Seek prior approval from Supervisor before working outside of scheduled hours.
- Contact Supervisor before working more than 10 hours in a workday or on weekends.
- Accurately record work hours and other company-related information using designated systems.
- Discuss duties requested by store personnel not listed herein with Supervisor before performing those duties.
25% Team Leadership
- May train Merchandisers on appropriate merchandising techniques.
- Back up to Supervisor and fill in Supervisor duties, as needed.
- May be assigned to approve payroll and run a variety of reports.
Other duties as assigned.
Goals & Objectives:
- Work with Supervisor to cover all assigned stores.
- Assist with sets and resets, as needed.
- Train new hires, as needed.
- Remain up-to-date on all planogram (POG)/flowchart changes.
- Regular communication with Supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
“F” FOR FREQUENTLY; “O” FOR OCCASIONALLY; “N” FOR NOT AT ALL.
