Which hospitality companies in South Carolina sponsor TN visas?
Large hotel brands with South Carolina properties have the most consistent TN visa sponsorship history, including Marriott-affiliated hotels in Charleston, Hilton properties along the Grand Strand, and Hyatt-managed venues in Columbia and Greenville. Convention centers and resort operators in Myrtle Beach also file TN Labor Condition Applications for qualifying management and food service roles. Smaller boutique properties sponsor less frequently.
Which cities in South Carolina have the most hospitality TN sponsorship jobs?
Charleston leads the state for hospitality TN sponsorship, driven by its year-round tourism industry, historic hotel corridor, and growing convention market. Myrtle Beach follows closely with seasonal and permanent resort and restaurant positions. Columbia and Greenville are smaller markets but generate TN filings tied to conference hotels and business travel properties serving the Upstate's corporate base.
What hospitality roles typically qualify for TN sponsorship in South Carolina?
TN visa eligibility in hospitality generally requires roles that meet a specialty occupation standard under USMCA, meaning a position that requires at least a bachelor's degree in a directly related field. Hotel general managers, food and beverage directors, revenue management analysts, and event services managers with relevant degrees commonly qualify. Front-of-house staff and hourly service roles typically do not meet the educational threshold required for TN classification.
How do I find hospitality TN sponsorship jobs in South Carolina?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for verified TN visa sponsorship jobs in South Carolina's hospitality sector. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with confirmed TN Labor Condition Application filing history, so you can see which South Carolina hotel groups, resort operators, and food service companies have sponsored TN workers in relevant roles rather than relying on employer self-reporting.
Are there any South Carolina-specific considerations for hospitality TN sponsorship?
South Carolina's hospitality market has a strong seasonal component, particularly in Myrtle Beach, where peak hiring runs from spring through early fall. TN visas are employer-specific, so a seasonal position that ends does not automatically carry over to a new employer or property. Canadian and Mexican citizens applying for TN status should confirm their prospective employer has a certified Labor Condition Application before travel, as TN status is granted at the port of entry or through a consular appointment.
