Responsibilities
- Support specifications and standards in areas such as compound, component, curing process, or uniformity analyses
- Apply a systematic approach to identify and isolate problems and their root causes to design and implement effective solutions
- Statistical analysis and data collection through software such as Minitab
- Determine methods and technology to convert inputs into acceptable outputs with process capability
- Learn and utilize key chemical manufacturing tools and systems; recommending improvements where needed
- Apply interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with fellow teammates and achieve common goals
- Work in a hands-on environment with cross functional teams, at least 50% on floor
- Utilize project management skills to develop, manage, and control scope, schedule and cost

- To be pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or another applicable major and actively enrolled in the degree program at an accredited university
- To be junior-senior level standing with a GPA of at least 3.0
- Completed course work in Computer Aided Design (CAD)/AutoCAD
- To be available to work 40 hours weekly in a 6-month minimum co-op assignment
- No other work experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know!
