Responsibilities:
- Process and manage ocean import shipments, including preparing necessary documentation for each shipment, tracking and tracing cargo, updating all systems with shipping and customer information.
- Collaborate and communicate proactively with customers, carriers, oversea agents/shippers, the document team and finance to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Sending invoices to customers to ensure timely payment.
- Answering and responding to email requests within timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in Freight Forwarding Industry (NVOCC), especially in Ocean Imports.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and time management skills to meet deadlines with accuracy.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to address customer needs.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to effective follow-up.
- Proficiency in GoFreight is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
