Which social media companies sponsor E-3 visas in Washington?
Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta all have significant Washington operations and documented histories of sponsoring E-3 visas for professional roles. Smaller agencies and tech companies in Seattle also sponsor E-3 applicants for social media positions, though sponsorship willingness varies by company size and role. Checking Department of Labor LCA disclosure data shows which Washington employers have filed for social media and communications positions under the E-3 category.
Which cities in Washington have the most social media E-3 sponsorship jobs?
Seattle is by far the primary hub, home to the headquarters and major offices of Amazon, Microsoft, and numerous mid-size tech companies with active social media teams. Bellevue, directly across Lake Washington, also has a growing concentration of tech employers who hire for social media roles. Outside the Seattle metro area, social media E-3 opportunities in Washington are limited.
How do I find social media E-3 sponsorship jobs in Washington?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for this search, allowing you to filter by visa type, state, and industry to surface Washington social media roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship. Generic job boards don't filter by sponsorship willingness, which makes the search far less efficient. Using Migrate Mate narrows your list to employers already familiar with or actively supporting the E-3 process for social media candidates.
What types of social media roles typically qualify for E-3 sponsorship in Washington?
Roles that qualify for E-3 sponsorship must meet the specialty occupation standard, meaning a bachelor's degree in a specific field is normally required for the position. In social media, this typically includes social media strategist, content marketing manager, digital communications analyst, and social media data analyst roles tied to degrees in marketing, communications, or computer science. General coordinator or assistant-level roles with no specific degree requirement are less likely to qualify.
Are there state-specific considerations for E-3 social media jobs in Washington?
Washington has no state income tax, which affects overall compensation comparisons but doesn't change E-3 visa requirements. More relevantly, Washington's tech-saturated hiring market means employers are generally familiar with work visa sponsorship processes, including the E-3. That said, familiarity with H-1B visa sponsorship doesn't automatically mean a company will sponsor E-3 applicants. Confirming a specific employer's E-3 experience before applying is always worth doing.
What is the prevailing wage for E-3 social media jobs in Washington?
U.S. employers sponsoring a visa must pay at least the prevailing wage, which is what workers in the same role, area, and experience level typically earn. The Department of Labor sets this rate to make sure companies aren't hiring foreign workers simply because they'd accept lower pay than a U.S. worker. It varies by job title, location, and experience. You can look up current prevailing wage rates for any occupation and location using the OFLC Wage Search page.
