VP Sales Jobs in New Hampshire: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a vp sales in New Hampshire?
Most vp sales roles in New Hampshire do not require a state-issued license, but employers consistently expect a strong progression through individual contributor and sales management roles before considering candidates at the VP level. New Hampshire's dominant hiring sectors, including defense contracting, enterprise software, and financial services, favor candidates who have led teams in those specific verticals. An MBA is a differentiator at many Manchester and Nashua employers, though demonstrated revenue results carry more weight than credentials alone.
How much do VP saleses make in New Hampshire?
VP saleses in New Hampshire earn a median of about $141,900 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $88,550 for the lowest 10% to over $265,620 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire vp saless in New Hampshire?
New Hampshire vp sales roles are posted by Franklin Pierce University, Insmed Incorporated, and YMCA and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. New Hampshire's concentration of defense contractors, financial services firms, and regional technology companies means vp sales openings tend to cluster around organizations with both a federal and commercial sales motion.
Which New Hampshire cities have the most vp sales jobs?
New Hampshire, Rindge, and Portsmouth hold the most vp sales openings in New Hampshire. Manchester and Nashua drive the bulk of demand as the state's two largest metros, anchored by financial services firms, technology companies, and defense contractors that require dedicated sales leadership, while Portsmouth contributes openings tied to its growing professional services and maritime commerce sectors.
Are there remote vp sales jobs in New Hampshire?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 30% of vp sales openings tied to New Hampshire are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the fact that sales leadership work is largely strategic and communication-driven rather than tied to a physical site. The most fully remote roles tend to be at technology companies managing national or enterprise accounts rather than at defense or financial services firms that require on-site presence.
How can I get hired as a vp sales in New Hampshire with little or no experience?
The most realistic path is to build a record as an account executive or sales manager at a mid-size New Hampshire technology or financial services company before pursuing VP-level roles. Employers like BAE Systems and regional fintech firms in Nashua often promote from within, making an internal transition from senior individual contributor to team lead to director a well-worn route. Earning a Salesforce certification or completing a formal sales leadership program strengthens a candidacy when years of direct management experience are limited.
Where can I find and apply to vp sales jobs in New Hampshire?
You can find and apply to vp sales jobs in New Hampshire on Migrate Mate, which lists current New Hampshire openings updated regularly. Find the roles that fit your background and apply directly to each one without any additional steps required on the platform.
