In Illinois, professional development through associations like the American Management Association's Chicago chapter or coursework in Salesforce administration can strengthen a candidacy considerably.
How much do account operations managers make in Illinois?

Illinois's concentration of insurance carriers, financial services firms, and large logistics operators means account operations roles here tend to be tied to complex, multi-client service environments.
Which Illinois cities have the most account operations manager jobs?
Rockford, Schaumburg, and Springfield have the most account operations manager openings in Illinois. Chicago dominates due to its density of corporate headquarters in financial services, insurance, and professional services, while suburban corridors like Schaumburg and Downers Grove add volume from mid-market firms that cluster around O'Hare and the broader Chicagoland business infrastructure.
