Job Summary

The Sales Account Representative is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and representing MSC’s solutions with professionalism and technical credibility. This role blends consultative selling, territory development, and long-term account management. This is a base + commission position.

Duties

· Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in assigned verticals

· Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, end-users, facility managers, and partners

· Conduct site visits, needs assessments, and solution presentations

· Prepare proposals, estimates, and scopes of work in collaboration with engineering

· Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution

· Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline forecasting, and activity reporting

· Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth project handoff and customer satisfaction

· Represent MSC at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities

Qualifications

· 2–5 years of sales experience in security, fire/life safety, low-voltage, or related technical industries

· Strong understanding of construction environments, project cycles, and integrator workflows

· Proven ability to generate leads, manage pipelines, and close deals

· Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

· Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently

· Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally

Proficient in the System Integrator D-Tools Platform

· Ability to build comprehensive proposals for Fire & Life Safety, Emergency Response, Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intercom, IT/Networking and cable management systems.

· Detailed knowledge in Potter, Gamewell/FCI, Honeywell, DMP, Digital Watchdog, AXIS, Hanwha, Kantech, Sicunet, Genetec, Telecor, Bogen, or equivalent products.

· Experience selling into construction, industrial, healthcare, campus, or commercial, energy/utilities, oil & gas, government and municipality markets

· Knowledge of NFPA, IBC, and AHJ requirements (for fire/life safety roles), including access control permitting requirements.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
