Job Summary
As a Accounting Intern at Black & Veatch in Overland Park, KS., you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various Finance functions. This internship offers the opportunity to contribute to diverse, impactful projects that support our clients’ goals while fostering your professional growth and advancing the success of Black & Veatch.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis:
May support financial analysis by providing requested information
Financial Reporting:
May prepares basic financial reports
Identifies basic variances to plan . May support financial planning by providing requested information
May support project financial tracking, billing and cost analysis.
Financial Tool and Model Development:
May work to gain basic level of enterprise-wide business systems knowledge to obtain and analyze basic data
Special Projects:
Special projects as required
Management Responsibilities:
Individual contributor with no subordinates
Preferred Qualifications
3 accounting or finance courses completed preferred.
Minimum 3 0 GPA preferred.
Completion of three years of college coursework is preferred.
