Analyst Intern Jobs in Utah: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a analyst intern in Utah?
Most analyst intern roles in Utah require active enrollment in a bachelor's program in finance, business, economics, accounting, or data science at a Utah institution such as the University of Utah, Brigham Young University, or Utah State University. No state-issued license is required. Employers in Utah typically select candidates based on GPA, relevant coursework, and demonstrated Excel or data skills, with recruiting concentrated in the fall and spring semesters.
Which companies hire analyst interns in Utah?
Employers hiring analyst interns in Utah right now include The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Zions Bancorporation, and Biasly, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Utah's Silicon Slopes corridor in Lehi and Draper also draws consistent analyst intern hiring from regional fintech and software firms alongside larger established employers.
Which Utah cities have the most analyst intern jobs?
The cities with the most analyst intern openings in Utah are Salt Lake City, Riverton, and Roy. Salt Lake City anchors the market as the state's financial, healthcare, and government hub, while Provo and Lehi benefit from a high concentration of tech companies and startups along the Silicon Slopes corridor, which generates strong demand for early-career analytical roles.
Are there remote analyst intern jobs in Utah?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 75% of analyst intern openings tied to Utah are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based, data-driven nature of the work. Roles focused on financial modeling, business intelligence reporting, and market research are the most likely to offer remote or hybrid arrangements, while positions requiring close collaboration with on-site teams tend to stay in-office.
How can I get hired as a analyst intern in Utah with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying directly to structured internship programs at large Utah employers. Intermountain Health, Adobe, and state government agencies all run formal early-career or summer intern cohorts designed for candidates with limited professional experience. Completing relevant coursework in Excel, SQL, or Tableau and building a short portfolio of class projects or self-directed analyses gives candidates a concrete edge. Lateral moves from tutoring, research assistant, or campus data roles also read well to Utah hiring managers.
Where can I find and apply to analyst intern jobs in Utah?
You can find and apply to analyst intern jobs in Utah on Migrate Mate, which lists current Utah openings updated regularly. Search the roles available, find the ones that match your background and availability, and apply directly through each listing. No profile creation is required to search or apply.
