Marketing Intern Jobs in Utah: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a marketing intern in Utah?
Marketing internships in Utah require no state-issued license or certification, so the path runs through education and applied experience. Most employers expect current enrollment in or recent completion of a bachelor's program in marketing, communications, or business at a Utah institution such as the University of Utah, Utah Valley University, or BYU. Building a portfolio with class projects, freelance work, or campus organization campaigns gives applicants a clear edge when competing for roles.
Which companies hire marketing interns in Utah?
Companies currently hiring marketing interns in Utah include 97th Floor, University of Utah, and Peak ENT Associates, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Utah's strong tech corridor along the Wasatch Front means many of these openings sit inside software, fintech, and consumer technology firms that run structured internship programs each semester.
Which Utah cities have the most marketing intern jobs?
Lehi, Salt Lake City, and Ogden lead Utah for marketing intern openings. Salt Lake City anchors the list as the state's commercial and corporate hub, while Provo benefits from the concentration of tech firms and startups in Silicon Slopes, and smaller metros appear on the list when large employers or university campuses there run dedicated intern programs.
Are there remote marketing intern jobs in Utah?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 100% of marketing intern openings tied to Utah are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the desk-based and digital nature of most marketing intern tasks. Content creation, social media scheduling, and campaign analytics are the sub-areas most likely to be offered in a fully remote format.
How can I get hired as a marketing intern in Utah with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is applying directly to structured internship programs at large Utah employers, where hiring managers expect candidates without professional experience. Adobe, Qualtrics, and major Utah retailers run semester-based intern cohorts aimed at current students. Contributing to a campus marketing club, a student-run publication, or a volunteer campaign at a Utah nonprofit builds the portfolio evidence these programs look for, and candidates who complete a Google Digital Marketing certification often stand out when competing against applicants with identical academic backgrounds.
Where can I find and apply to marketing intern jobs in Utah?
You can find and apply to marketing intern jobs in Utah on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings tied to Utah locations. Search the listings to find roles that match your schedule, skills, and preferred location across the state, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
