Analytics Manager Jobs in Indiana: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a analytics manager in Indiana?
Analytics manager roles in Indiana do not require a state-issued license, so the path runs through education and experience. Most Indiana employers expect a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, or business analytics, and many prefer a master's degree for senior-level positions. Building several years of hands-on analytics experience, earning credentials like Google Data Analytics or a Certified Analytics Professional designation, and demonstrating leadership over data teams are the most reliable steps into management.
Which companies hire analytics managers in Indiana?
Employers hiring analytics managers in Indiana right now include Northwest Bank, Ryder System, and CVS Health, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Indiana's concentration of healthcare, pharmaceutical, insurance, and logistics companies means openings often center on operational and clinical data management alongside marketing and financial analytics.
Which Indiana cities have the most analytics manager jobs?
Indianapolis, Fishers, and Indiana have the most analytics manager openings in Indiana. Indianapolis dominates because it hosts the corporate and regional headquarters of major healthcare, insurance, and technology employers, while Fort Wayne and Bloomington draw openings from manufacturing operations and Indiana University's research and administrative functions respectively.
Are there remote analytics manager jobs in Indiana?
Yes, and more than most fields. Analytics manager work is largely desk-based and output-driven, making it well suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 25% of analytics manager openings tied to Indiana are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting how broadly employers have accepted distributed data teams. Strategic reporting and dashboard management are the functions most commonly performed fully remote.
How can I get hired as a analytics manager in Indiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into an analytics manager role from a senior analyst or data analyst position within the same Indiana employer. Large healthcare systems such as Indiana University Health and Ascension St. Vincent, along with insurers like Anthem and OneAmerica, run rotational or associate analyst programs that build toward management. Building a portfolio of independent projects, earning a recognized analytics certification, and targeting team lead or analytics lead titles as a bridge role give candidates without prior management experience a competitive edge.
Where can I find and apply to analytics manager jobs in Indiana?
