From there, the typical path involves gaining hands-on experience with a major enterprise platform, whether through a help desk, IT support, or junior analyst position at a New York hospital system, financial institution, or large corporation. Certifications from vendors like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft strengthen a candidate's profile considerably with New York employers.
How much do applications analysts make in New York?
Applications analysts in New York earn a median of about $109,610 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $67,220 for the lowest 10% to over $171,360 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire applications analysts in New York?
Employers hiring applications analysts in New York right now include Northwell Health, United Health Services, and Citi, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026.
