The Department of Radiation Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a nationally recognized department that integrates cutting-edge clinical care, innovative research, and comprehensive medical education.
Position Summary
The selected candidate will provide expert radiation oncology care, including diagnosis, patient consultations, treatment planning, and follow-up management. In addition, the Clinician-Educator will:
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, physicists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and strategic planning.
- Engage in teaching, mentorship, and supervision of medical trainees, residents, and fellows, fostering the next generation of radiation oncology leaders.
- Contribute to scholarly activity within the clinic and broader academic community.
- Maintain excellence in patient satisfaction, clinical efficiency, and interdepartmental collaboration.
Qualifications
- Board eligible or board certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology.
- Eligible for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Compensation And Benefits
- Base salary range: $450,000 – $600,000. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
