Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent to oversee Commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, understanding of design and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Salary dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Schedule and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution and maintain project schedules.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide construction activities on site.
- Monitor job site safety practices and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with design professionals regarding project status, challenges, and solutions.
Skills
- Strong understanding of construction methods, principles and practices.
- Excellent blueprint reading skills for accurate interpretation of plans.
- Effective project coordination abilities to manage multiple teams and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- 5+ years experience preferred.
- Carpentry and other trade experience is welcome to apply.
