Business Analyst Manager Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a business analyst manager in Georgia?
There is no state-issued license required to work as a business analyst manager in Georgia. The typical path starts with a bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related field, followed by several years as a senior business analyst building delivery and stakeholder experience. Earning the Certified Business Analysis Professional credential through the International Institute of Business Analysis strengthens candidacy at Georgia's larger employers, particularly in financial services and healthcare.
How much do business analyst managers make in Georgia?
Business analyst managers in Georgia earn a median of about $99,600 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $61,010 for the lowest 10% to over $172,850 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire business analyst managers in Georgia?
Employers hiring business analyst managers in Georgia right now include The Home Depot, Kearney, and Infojini, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major logistics and financial services operations means demand is consistent across both corporate and consulting environments.
Which Georgia cities have the most business analyst manager jobs?
Atlanta, Alpharetta, and Georgia have the most business analyst manager openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the largest share because it concentrates Fortune 500 headquarters, major consulting firms, and regional financial institutions, while Alpharetta's dense technology corridor and Savannah's growing logistics and port operations each generate steady demand for managers who can align business processes with operational scale.
Are there remote business analyst manager jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields. About 51% of business analyst manager openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting the desk-based and collaborative nature of the work. Requirements gathering, roadmap documentation, and stakeholder reporting translate well to remote environments, though roles tied to in-person delivery teams or on-site systems implementations are more likely to require a hybrid schedule.
How can I get hired as a business analyst manager in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is moving into a business analyst manager role from a senior individual-contributor position within the same Georgia employer. Large Atlanta-area organizations including healthcare systems and financial services firms often post internal progression programs or associate manager tracks for high-performing analysts. Building a portfolio of documented requirements artifacts, process maps, or agile delivery artifacts and earning the Entry Certificate in Business Analysis through the International Institute of Business Analysis gives candidates a concrete credential edge before pursuing management titles.
