Human Capital Management Jobs in Georgia: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a human capital management in Georgia?
Most human capital management roles in Georgia require a bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or organizational psychology, followed by professional certification. Georgia employers widely recognize the SHRM-CP or PHR credential as the standard entry benchmark. Earning either designation through SHRM or HRCI signals readiness for generalist and business partner roles. Large Atlanta-based employers in retail, logistics, and healthcare consistently list these credentials as preferred or required for mid-level entry.
How much do human capital managements make in Georgia?
Human capital managements in Georgia earn a median of about $150,700 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $89,790 for the lowest 10% to over $271,170 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire human capital managements in Georgia?
Employers hiring human capital managements in Georgia right now include Sage, Intuit, and Paylocity, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of August 2026. Georgia's concentration of Fortune 500 headquarters and major healthcare systems means steady year-round demand beyond seasonal hiring cycles.
Which Georgia cities have the most human capital management jobs?
Atlanta, Peachtree Corners, and Augusta have the most human capital management openings in Georgia. Atlanta drives the bulk of demand through its dense cluster of corporate headquarters, technology firms, and large hospital networks, while Savannah's expanding logistics and port-related industries and Augusta's healthcare and military-adjacent employers account for meaningful hiring outside the metro.
Are there remote human capital management jobs in Georgia?
Yes, and more than most fields, since human capital management is largely desk-based and analytical. About 70% of human capital management openings tied to Georgia are remote or hybrid as of August 2026, reflecting how broadly HR technology work, benefits administration, and HR business partnering have shifted to flexible arrangements. Roles tied to direct employee relations or on-site workforce management tend to remain in-person.
How can I get hired as a human capital management in Georgia with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an HR coordinator or HR assistant role at a large Georgia employer, where on-the-job exposure covers recruiting, onboarding, and compliance fundamentals. Hospital systems like Emory Healthcare and Piedmont Health run structured HR associate programs that accept candidates without prior HR titles. Candidates moving laterally from payroll, office management, or customer operations roles are commonly considered. Completing the SHRM-CP exam or an HRCI associate credential before applying gives an early-career candidate a clear edge.
Where can I find and apply to human capital management jobs in Georgia?
You can find and apply to human capital management jobs in Georgia on Migrate Mate, which lists current Georgia openings updated regularly. Search the listings, find roles that match your experience and location, and apply directly to the employers posting them.
